For over 15 years, Jennifer Lea Cohan has worked in public relations and special events. In 2005 she founded Savory PR. Current clients include floral and event design house MODA botanica; chef and TV personality Denisse Oller; lifestyle/design expert Brini Maxwell and her home products line Felix Populi. Jennifer also serves as the press officer for the NASFT (National Association for the Specialty Food Trade) Fancy Food Shows in New York and San Francisco. Community-minded, she also does pro bono work for The Vendy Awards, an annual NYC Street Food Vendor competition, and Children’s Village, a nationally recognized early childhood education provider.
Former clients include Food Network personality Daisy Martinez; all-natural cake mix line Naturally Nora; online artisanal chocolate boutique the chocolate nation; Neighbors Project’s Bodega Party in a Box and Food Shelter Public Relations, for whom she did food styling on Giada de Laurentiis TV segments, and publicity for the Greyston Bakery Do-Goodie Brownie.
Jennifer has also worked on media relations and events for The James Beard Foundation Awards; Wines from Spain; The French Culinary Institute and Rèmy Cointreau USA, as well as the TV shows, cookbooks, restaurants and products of chefs Pino Luongo and Lidia Bastianich. In addition to her public relations endeavors, she was the food stylist and a frequent guest on the Style Network’s “The Brini Maxwell Show.”
Jennifer’s non-epicurean experience includes working with myriad pop culture personalities at The Charlie Rose Show, advocating for animals at the ASPCA, and supervising celebrity jewelry loans for Harry Winston.
She resides in Philadelphia with her husband and two children.
